The Yamaha Revstar Standard RSS20L in Black is a left-handed electric guitar renowned for its versatility, lightweight design, and modern features, complemented by a vintage, café racer-inspired aesthetic. It is part of Yamaha’s second-generation Revstar series, introduced in 2022.

• Body: It has a chambered mahogany body with a maple top, a design developed using Yamaha’s Acoustic Design process to enhance resonance, reduce weight, and improve balance.
• Neck: The neck is a set-in, 3-piece mahogany design with carbon fiber reinforcement for added stability and improved vibration transfer. It features a satin finish for smooth playability and a 12-inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo stainless steel frets.
• Pickups: The guitar is equipped with custom-designed Yamaha VH5 Alnico V humbucking pickups in both the neck and bridge positions, which provide a powerful yet balanced and bright sound.
• Tonal Versatility:
  • 5-Position Pickup Switch: Offers a wide range of tones, including unique “in-between” sounds on positions 2 and 4, which use a subtle phase shift to mimic classic single-coil sounds.
  • Focus Switch: The push/pull master tone control activates a passive boost that shifts the resonant frequency, resulting in a tone similar to overwound pickups with darker highs and increased mids and lows, adding an aggressive character.
• Hardware: Features a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece and die-cast tuners.
• Accessories: A deluxe gig bag is included.
