Sounds and styles: It features 416 Voices, 34 Drum/SFX kits, and 480 XG Voices, including high-quality sampled sounds for acoustic and electric pianos. It comes with 230 Styles, which include a new “DJ” category for creating powerful dance tracks.
Live controls: For dynamic live performances, the PSR-S670 includes two assignable live controllers and a modulation wheel. These allow for real-time manipulation of effects, arpeggios, and other functions.
DJ functions: The DJ Styles allow for a unique live performance concept where programmed chord progressions automatically play, freeing up your hands to control other features or play a melody.
Expandability: You can customize the keyboard by loading Voice & Style Expansion Packs to add new sounds and styles from around the world. The Yamaha Expansion Manager software allows you to create your own expansion data sets.
Audio recording and playback: The keyboard includes a USB Audio Player for playing back audio data. You can also trigger audio samples via the Multi Pad and the Audio Link function. It also features a dedicated line output for connecting to a PA system for larger venues.
Connectivity and apps: The PSR-S670 includes an AUX IN to connect an audio player and a USB to HOST port. It is also compatible with the Chord Tracker app for iOS, which analyzes songs from your device and displays the chord sequence.
