Keyboard action: The CLP-775 features the GrandTouch keyboard with 88-key Linear Graded Hammers, which mimics the feel of an acoustic grand piano. It has solid wood white keys and a broad dynamic range. Note that unlike the higher-end CLP-785 and CLP-795GP, the CLP-775 does not include counterweights in the keys, which results in a heavier feel.
Sound engine: It includes samples of two concert grand pianos: the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial.
Acoustic technology:Grand Acoustic Imaging is used to reproduce the sound image of an acoustic grand piano by placing speakers and transducers in optimal positions. Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) digitally recreates the resonance produced by the strings, body, and pedals of a grand piano.
Speaker system: A powerful 3-way speaker system (42 W + 50 W + 50 W) x 2 is included, delivering robust and clear sound.
Headphone experience: For a realistic headphone experience, it uses binaural sampling for both the CFX and Bösendorfer voices, creating a spacious and natural sound.
Historic piano voices: The CLP-775 includes two fortepiano voices from the eras of Mozart and Chopin, allowing you to play their music with historically accurate sounds.
Control interface: A touch-sensitive control panel on the left side of the keyboard is used for selecting voices and other functions. The panel disappears when not in use for a clean, elegant look.
Connectivity: The instrument features Bluetooth audio and MIDI functionality, which allows for wireless connections to music apps and other devices. It is also compatible with Yamaha’s Smart Pianist app for easy control.
Recording: The USB Audio Recorder allows you to record your performances as WAV audio files.
