Performance Benefits
Extended Tone Life: The Polyweb coating protects the entire string, including the gaps between windings, from dirt and sweat, making them last 3–5 times longer than uncoated strings.
Reduced Finger Squeak: The slick coating significantly diminishes unwanted noise when moving across the fretboard, which is beneficial for both live performances and recording.
Warm Sound: Unlike the brighter Nanoweb variety, these are voiced for a richer, more mellow acoustic character.
