The Yamaha AG06MK2 is a versatile 6-channel live streaming mixer and USB audio interface. Designed for content creators, musicians, and podcasters, it allows you to easily connect and mix audio sources for live streaming, recording, and other applications. The MK2 version features updated components and connectivity compared to the original AG06, including a USB-C port for improved sound quality and a dedicated mute button.
Key features
Flexible connectivity: Features two combo XLR/1/4″ inputs with +48V phantom power for condenser microphones or DI boxes. Channel 2 can also be switched to a high-impedance (Hi-Z) input for directly connecting a guitar. The mixer also has two stereo line-level inputs (one L/R 1/4″ phone, one RCA) and a 4-pole mini jack (TRRS) for smartphone connectivity.
High-resolution audio: Supports high-quality 24-bit, 192 kHz audio recording and playback, ensuring a professional-sounding result.
Onboard DSP effects: Provides zero-latency “1-TOUCH” effects, including COMP/EQ for clear sound, REVERB for adding depth, and an AMP SIMULATOR for electric guitars. Effects can also be turned off for pure, raw recordings.
Loopback function: This feature routes all input signals along with audio from your computer back to the streaming software, allowing you to easily add background music, sound effects, or chat audio to your stream.
USB-C connection: The modern USB-C port improves internal circuitry and signal clarity, enhancing the overall sound quality. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, and iOS devices (iOS requires an Apple Camera Adapter and external power).
Dedicated mute button: The newly added mute button allows for instant control over your microphone channel. It can also be controlled with an optional footswitch.
AG Controller software: This companion app for Windows, Mac, and iOS offers precise control over the mixer’s DSP effects, with both “Easy” and “Expert” modes for customizing your sound.
Bundled software: Includes powerful software packages like Cubase AI for music production, WaveLab Cast for audio editing and podcasting, and Cubasis LE for iOS.
