The Yamaha CBR10 is the most compact and portable model in the CBR series. It is a 10-inch, 2-way passive loudspeaker, meaning it requires an external power amplifier to function, and is designed for applications in smaller venues, as a stage monitor, or for installations.
Features and technology
Custom-designed transducers: The speaker features a custom 10-inch woofer with a 2-inch voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver for high-definition sound with minimal distortion.
Wide-dispersion constant directivity horn: A specially designed horn minimizes pattern deterioration in oblique directions, evenly dispersing sound across a 90° horizontal and 60° vertical coverage area.
HF-protection circuit: The speaker includes a protection circuit that limits excessive input to the high-frequency (HF) tweeter, preventing damage and ensuring reliable performance even at high output levels.
Rugged, portable enclosure: The compact, durable, and lightweight plastic cabinet features ergonomic handles for easy transport and setup. A steel front grille protects the internal components.
Flexible connectivity: Equipped with both speakON and 1/4″ phone jacks, the CBR10 can be easily connected to a variety of audio equipment.
Smart floor monitor design: The cabinet’s 50° wedge angle allows it to be used as a high-performance floor monitor.
Rigging points for installation: M8 rigging points on the bottom allow for installation with optional speaker brackets or eyebolts.
